This beautiful musical by Brian Crawley and Andrew Lippa tells the story of a little girl with a big imagination. When her father departs for WWI, young Sara is forced to leave her home and attend boarding school in London. When things go badly there, her imagination comes to the rescue, turning the drab institution into a place of magic and mystery. She wins the affection of other students, but draws the ire of the strict headmistress. Then, when Sara's father is reported dead, she is forced to work as a servant, but she faces it all with the grace and virtue of a princess.
Performances April 17-26. Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 and Sundays at 2:00.
